£3m for Shakespeare’s Globe
The de Vere Society is extremely pleased to see that Shakespeare’s Globe in London will receive almost £3m from the Culture Recovery Fund.
The DVS recognises the great artistic achievements of the new Shakespeare’s Globe since it opened in 1996. Here we can see the wonderful plays of the Earl of Oxford performed both in original practice and in updated settings. And until its doors are fully open again, the Globe is running its Shakespeare on Screen events.
