Elizabethan Gold Ring sells for £46,000

The ‘Hedingham Castle Estate Elizabethan Gold Ring’, possibly owned by Edward de Vere, was sold by Timeline Auctions for £46,000 in February 2021.

The ring was found in December 2018 by a metal detectorist near the River Colne on land owned by the de Vere family from the time of the Norman battle for  Britain. See an article on the sale in the Antiques Trade Gazette HERE.
