This year marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of the First Folio, a project undertaken four centuries ago that still resonates with us today.
To mark this unique occasion, we are joining forces with the esteemed Shakespeare Authorship Trust (SAT), to celebrate with a special full-day event, taking place at London’s historic landmark Charterhouse, on Saturday, 14th of October, 2023. We would be thrilled if you are able to join us on this most eventful day.
Honouring us with Folio readings on the day will be our excellent cast of actors, including Sir Mark Rylance, Sir Derek Jacobi, Annabel Leventon and Richard Clifford*, with the participation of DVS’ Chairman Alexander Waugh, Professor Roger Stritmatter, Dr Kevin Gilvary, SAT Chairman William Leahy in a series of Folio focused talks and discussions.
