Rosemary Loughlin’s interview with Frank Tynan on WED Kilkenny

In the run up to the performance of her one woman show A Rose by Any Other Name at Rothe House, Kilkenny on Saturday 5 August as part of the Alternative Kilkenny Arts Festival, Rosemary Loughlin was interviewed by Frank Tynan on WED Kilkenny Today (interview from 31:15).
Frank chatted with Rose about how she came to write the show, why Shakespeare is still so relevant to us today and why questioning the authorship by those outside the field of English literature is important. Frank had his research done, being familiar with journalist Elizabeth Winkler’s exceptional recent book on the authorship question – Shakespeare Was a Woman and Other Heresies: How Doubting the Bard Became the Biggest Taboo in Literature, widely available in good book shops and online.
Rose will be performing her show for a week at the beginning of March in Dublin.
