The 400th anniversary of the publication of the First Folio 14th October 2023
 
To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the publication of the First Folio, the DeVere Society, DVS, and the Shakespearean Authorship Trust, SAT, will hold a joint event at the historical Charterhouse in London on Saturday 14th October 2023. 

The programme is focused on the publication itself in a historical perspective. Some of the highlights;

Julia Cleave: Stratfordian Manoeuvres: No longer in search of an author?
Fabrice Collot: John Florio’s hand in the Epistle Dedicatory
Kevin Gilvary: The First Folio as a physical artefact and literary project
Roger Stritmatter: The Dedicatees and the Spanish marriage
Alexander Waugh: Ben Jonson’s Encomium 

Actors: Richard Clifford, Sir Derek Jacobi, Annabel Leventon, Sir Mark Rylance.
